Terry was born on August 3, 1941 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Morgan Rayworth Huff and Dorthea Louise (Terrill) Huff. He was also a member of Maskat’s Provost Guard, Foot Patrol, and Convee units, and was a member of the Royal Order of Jesters, Court #85. Terry worked for his community and was also a longtime member of the Mavericks. He was also a strong supporter of “Coats for Kids” with WFISD through the church. Terry was employed at The Shopper for over 20 years until retiring. He loved his family dearly, and his wife Janie referred to him as a “wonderful husband”.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Russell Lee Black.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Leal Huff; son, Skot Eugene Huff and wife Melissa; son, Joey Black and wife Jessica; his sister, Lou Murdock; his brother, Joe Huff; his grandchildren, Gabriel Huff, Lauren Huff, Katie Marie Black Williams and husband Owen, Ashley Marie Black, and Amanda Black Tillman and husband Rueben; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

I met Terry quite a few years ago when I spent some time with his mother Dorothy, who is also my second cousin. We all had lunch together and Terry was quite the gentleman and very friendly to this stranger. He toured me through his great car collection downtown which was quite impressive. He was devoted to his mother and she was very proud of him. Rest in peace cousin.
