Not sure what to say?

Dear Family,
I have just found this obituary and am so sorry to hear this news. My heartfelt condolences to all of you. I am his niece and he was Uncle Terry to me. He was my father's brother. I have memories of Uncle Terry when I was growing up and his parents were living in Colts Neck NJ. He was only 12 years older than me and was serving in the Viet Nam war when I became a teenager - and it is during this period that I have the most memories of him. He was kind and sweet to me...

I heard today of Jim's passing. I am so sorry and send his family my sincere condolences. I taught with Jim at BCCC and always enjoyed chatting with him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of Jim's family.

I am so glad that I had the opportunity to know and work with Jim at BCCC. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Hi, I was one of Mr. Matson's students back in the 90's. I was earning an Assoc. in Social Work. He taught a number of my classes. He was a special breed of teacher because he challenged his students...He made the subjects interesting...and he had a sense of humor too... I am sure he leaves big shoes behind...

Dear Rob and Family,

I am terribly sorry to hear this news. Mr. Matson always had a special place in my heart and I will remember him and think of him often. You are all in my prayers as you celebrate his life and his journey home. May God give you peace until you see him again.

Jim was a fine instructor. I enjoyed conversations with Jim, and I am sorry to learn of his death.

I am so sorry for your loss. Jim was a fine instructor who set a wonderful example for his students with his professionalism and love of teaching. I admired him for his service to our country and for his deep love of and devotion to his family. You are in my prayers.

Sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I was a student of his at Beaufort College several years ago. He was patient and fair to all of his students. He served his country with courage and valor and treated all mankind with respect and dignity. He will be missed.
