Not sure what to say?

It's been awhile sir! Hope you are resting peacefully. Thank you for protecting our freedom

Oh Ter,
Words can not express how much I miss you. You are a Grandpa to a beautiful baby girl. I wish so badly you could be here... my heart hurts to not have you here. I believe with all my heart, you would be such an amazing Grandpa to lil Ray Ray... Please watch over our daughter and our Grandaughter ❤ I love you.

Hard to believe it's been over ten years that you entered Heaven. Your little girl, Kassidie, is a very beautiful young lady. She's been to your resting place many times...She loves you and knows she will see you again. Thank you Terry for your service to this nation❤....

You were my best friend I watched your back on our nights out in Germany and you watched mine we grew together from basic on I only wish I could have been there and saved your life that horrible day I miss you brother more than you will ever know... May God watch over your loved ones and that little girl you cherished more than breath.

Its been 10 years. I still miss him.

Today is Memorial Day, a day we certainly think of Terry. It's a sad day because I think of how wonderful it would have been for his little girl Kassie to have her Daddy in her life. He would be extremely proud of his daughter. She's a precious, kind, generous, and tender-hearted soul. As she gets older she thinks more and more about her Dad and what it would be like if he were still here. But, the LORD has a plan and we must trust HE knows best. I'm sure that's a hard-sell to a young lady...

Terry, I'm sure you are proud of your mom as she volunteers at the Va Hospital and the USO...she does this as a tribute to you. Your memory lives on through her actions and her life.

Hello,
We wanted to let you know that we are sending Care Packages to troops in Afghanistan this week in memory of your loved one. It is a humble tribute, but it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals. May God Bless you and keep you safe.
Respectfully,

I read about Terry in Dexter Filkins' book "The Forever War". Those who knew him were fortunate to know someone who had the courage and bravery to put his life on the line so as to safeguard our freedom and human rights. Those of us who didn't know him wish we had had that honor. My thoughts go out to all of his family, especially his child.
