To Terry's Family:

I knew Terry in several capacities. Tennis, where she had this weird shot that we dubbed the "shovel shot". We had great times batting that ball around.

We served on City Council together and spent many hours stuffing envelopes and debating current issues facing Ann Arbor. You always knew where she stood on any of those issues.

Terry served her community well, and had a host of friends. She will be missed and I send my sympathy...

I first met Mrs. Martin when I was just starting college at U of M and Stephanie and I would occasionally meet her for dinner at the Red Bull. We would always have spirited discussions about our politics (which differed greatly) and our goals in life. She helped me to redefine my own beliefs and taught me to express them coherently and with passion. Those meals were some of my best memories from my time in Ann Arbor.
