Terry Wayne Massengale entered rest on March 30, 2012 at the age of 64. Born in San Antonio, Texas on July 29, 1947, he attended Edison High School and was employed for 47 years at Massengale Armature Works and was a "gifted" machinist. He was proud of his work accomplishments and was admired and respected by many. Terry was a fun and loving husband who enjoyed traveling with his wife in their RV, working on his jeep and loved to "piddle" in his workshop. He will be greatly missed and memories of Terry will leave smiles on the faces of many. He will never be forgotten. He is preceded in death by his beloved sons, James Waymon Massengale and Aubrey Lee Massengale; his father, Lewis Massengale; his Grandparents Barney and Mamie Greeble and Leeroy and Minnie Lou Massengale and beloved mother-in-law, Bernice (Bernie) Rau and husband Eddie. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Joyce Massengale; his mother, Jackie Bucher and step-father Jerry Bucher; his brothers, Michael Massengale and wife, Rosa; John Massengale and wife, Robin; Sister-in-law Rosemary Schramek and husband Allen; Brother-in-law, Tom Rau and wife, Debbie; his nephews, Chad Schramek (Sunny), Mark Schramek (Tara), Clayton Rau (Kristen), Spencer Rau and Trenton Massengale; nieces Monica Crowley (Bryan) and Denise Parker (Sam), Beverly Massengale and extended family and friends. SERVICES Visitation will be Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 6-9:00PM at Mission Park North on Cherry Ridge. Services: Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 12:00pm Mission Park North. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of San Antonio.
