Not sure what to say?

April 21 2010
I only today heard of Terry's passing. We were friends in Esquimalt High School and were involved in many shall we say "interesting" escapades. I remember a window being blown from our brand new chemistry lab during an experiment to produce hydrogen. Terry and his lab partner Bill Hope were a little more successful than the rest of the class who generally managed only a small "pop".

Terry was a great guy with a wonderfull sense of humor, who else would say...

Paul and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family on the passing of your husband, father and grandfather. There are really few words that can ease the pain of losing a cherished love one and we hope that family and friends will bring support to all of you as you deal with this pain.God Bless and take care of one another.
Your neighbours on Little Silver Lake, Paul and Helen Chambers

I was surprised to learn that Terry had passed away. It was a real pleasure knowing and working with him at CBOT.
Sincerest condolences to the family.

Dear Lois and family,

I look back on the 2 years that I worked with Terry on The Money Report as some of my best years in journalism. I learned a lot from Terry.

His passion for telling a good story was only surpassed by his love of his family. He was especially proud of his boys.

They sure don't make them like Terry anymore. My sincere condolences.

Dear Lois and Matte Family,

We fondly remember Terry as a wonderful lake neighbour and longtime member and supporter of the Little Silver and Rainbow Lakes Property Owners Association. Our sincere condolences on your loss.

Dear Andrew and Matte family,
The gift of time we cherish,
The gift of life goes fast,
The gift of love will never end,
As long as memories last.
Our sincere sympathy to you all at this time. May you find comfort in memories and each other. Hugs.

To the Matte family,

Many years ago, Terry interviewed me on many occasions and it was always a pleasure. He always made me feel so at ease, he cut to the chase, and his charm, charisma, and his ability to capture the story was unique.

Allan & family,
My sincere condolences on the loss of your dad. I admired him for his work at the CBC.

Aunt Lois and family,
You are in our thoughts and prayers with the passing of Uncle Terry.
Love, Mark, Cathy, Samantha, Jake and Rachel
