Not sure what to say?

He was a kind man and a great teacher.

I MISS MR.McCoy ...
I used to talk to him when I saw him around campus. And I would go to his class room too.
To see how he was doing. He was a kind man.
There is nobody else like him.
WE LOVE U TMAC...
LOVE Emily E. Frierson

I had the privilege of working with Terry as an educator & as a parent of two daughters who graduated from RNE & whose personal & educational lives were enriched by his true devotion first to students as individuals and then as individuals whose futures were brighter for the education he assisted in giving. He will be greatly missed and the RNE & Richland Two District community have been blessed by a dedicated & talented person.

Terry was a wonderful person and the real "guru" of student government. I was fortunate to meet and associate with him when I was the Student Government sponsor at Hartsville High School. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

I was in the class that Terry walked into in 1970 at Dentsville as a student teacher, Mr. Balk's French class. I remember thinking he is too nice, high school students are going to tear him to pieces. I'm glad to hear he had such a great impact.

The world has lost an encourager, a motivator, a friend. TMac's influence with so many thousands of students at RNE HS is his legacy. My husband and I appreciate so very much the guidance given our daughter, Jennifer, while serving on the Yearbook staff. She like so many others carries a heavy heart. She stated at the beginning of the school year that the "spirit of RNE" was missing. Where was T-mac? We are so thankful that his suffering has ended and equally thankful to have known him.
