Terry G. Norris

Services celebrating the life of Mr. Terry G. Norris will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 24, 2013, at Holloway Baptist Church with Reverends Jacob Crawford and Phillip Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Hooper Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.

The family asks that visitation be observed Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and resume at the Church Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Mr. Norris, 60, of Pineville, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

He was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother that will be dearly missed by many.

During his working life he worked as a Lab Technician for 37 years at International Paper (Kraft Paper Mill).

He was preceded in death by his father, Ebbin Norris, Sr.; brother, Ebbin Norris, Jr.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 41 years, Gladys Mae Gunter Norris; Mother, Ruth Paulk Norris of Deville; son, Cody Norris and wife, T. J. of Deville; daughter, Aleesha Iles and husband, Randell also of Deville; brother, Jerry Norris and wife, Sheila of Hickory Grove; sister, Gloria Edmonds and husband, Bill of Nebo and 8 grandchildren, Kali Carman, Blair Norris, Tory Carman, Carley Norris, Audrey Norris, Easton Iles, Taylor Iles and Chayce Iles.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Kyle Norris, Shawn Edmonds, Shane Edmonds, Brent Norris, Scott Norris, Carl Gunter, III, Ryan Gunter and Jason Gunter.
