Not sure what to say?

I am sorry, probaly too late. I just heard of the passing of Mr Odelli, I was the drum major of his marching band 1980. Mr Odelli was a mentor to me,a shy high school kid who became the drum major of his marching band. That changed my life, and gave me confidence to pursue my goals. In greatest respect. Lyle Teska, MD

I have known Terry Odelli since 1972...First as a student who auditioned for a Junior High honors Band in Waterford...Then as a mentor, while being a Music Education Major at Oakland University, he asked me to be a counselor for Waterford Kettering High Marching band camp in Oscoda (recommended by his predecessor at Kettering)..Then as a friend after college...Eventhough I took a different career path for @17 years, remained a friend...When I got back into a Music teaching roll 20 years ago,...

I was a student of Mr. Odellis at Mason jr high, Waterford Kettering HS, jazz band, pit band, Holland tulip festival, Oscoda band camp both as student then counselor, and finally new horizons band. He was a great guy and great teacher, and Ill always remember him. RIP, Mr Odelli.

Mr Odelli, was my band teacher all throughout junior high and high school. His band taught me discipline, dedication, and how to work with others as a team. Music was what made the awkward teenage years possible. Thank you Mr Odelli!

I met Mr.Terry Odelli in 1972 as a 9th grader from Mason Jr. High, auditioning for a Waterford Jr. High honors Band. I qualified for that band. I went to Kettering the next year...After graduating from Kettering, George Fetter the director of Kettering Bands, who was leaving for another career opportunity, recommend me to help out the band by having me be a counselor at marching band camps in Oscoda Mi....I did so as a college student, while being Music Education Student at Oakland...

Prayers go out to his family. I remember him with the high school Kettering band nice guy

Mr O'Delli was my band teacher from 4th grade thru 12th. I have spoken of him often throughout the years & how he always had his Marching Band students looking so good on football fields & parades.
R.I.P. Mr. O'Delli. You will always be remembered with a smile.

Mr. O'Delli was my band teacher from 4th grade thru 12 th. The best teacher ever. R.I.P. You will always be remembered with a smile!

Mr Odelli was my band instructor at Lincoln Jr, High, Pontiac. One day in class, (when we were not on our best behavior) he told us, "Someday, you will realize how important music will be in you life". How right he was. Rest in peace Mr. Odelli.
