Not sure what to say?

Terry was a close friend, with a generous heart and spirit. He adored Olivia and TJ, and continually gave of himself to others, well beyond his considerable financial giving. He believed in people, and wanted to share joy wherever he went. We grew close the final chapter of his life. He was such a blessing, teaching me many lessons. All permeated with joy and a smile. We miss you Terry

Terry Ooten was a man who loved people, loved to have fun, yet enjoyed it even more when the ones around him were having fun.
He deeply loved his daughter Olivia, they were truly best friends. TJ was loved deeply as well, and both T J and Olivia had many adventious trips with their father.
Terry loved to cook as he was a great chef. He was a kind, generous and loving man. Everybody liked Terry.

Dear Melissa & Family: So sorry to read about Terry's untimely death! We so enjoyed our parties with you & Terry in the Newcomer's Club. Our prayers will be with you today and for years to come! May God bless & keep you all! Our deepest sympathies! JB & Jim Redington

Terry your light burned out to soon it shone a brilliant beacon for so many that love you so much. You will always remain in our hearts as such a special man.

My deepest heartfelt sympathy to the Ooten family. Terry was truly a one of a kind person. I will miss his insight and inspiritation. I'm so sad to see him go...

Melissa, TJ, and Olivia,
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband and your daddy. Let God and your friends carry you right now. Know that we are sending our love.

Terry was visionary and an artist when it came to creating real estate projects here in Tallahassee and on 30-A. His energy and excitement to our community will truely be missed.

Melissa, TJ, and Olivia, Please accept my deepest sympathies for your tragic loss. The obituary you wrote provided a perfect picture of the memories many of us share of your husband and dad. I remember him fondly at so many Maclay activities with TJ and Kelly (classmates) as well as other events around the school. He was devoted to his children and I trust those good memories will comfort you all now and in the future.

Ooten Family,
Please know that my heart is broken learning of Terry's untimely passing. We saw Terry a couple of months ago at Hurricane and he always was so welcoming to us and always had a megawatt smile and a handshake or a hug. We always appreciated him taking the time to make us feel special. Melissa and Family please know that if there is anything I can do to be of any help I am a phone call or e-mail away. We truly better people for knowing such a beautiful family. Please know that...
