Not sure what to say?

Great tennis pro and player. Took lessons at Cooper Creek with Terry, while I was at Baker High, that served me well at Georgia Tech. He let some of us earn a few $$ stringing rackets or helping with courts, with daughter Kim and Carol Patillo and a few Columbus College players. Last saw Terry 3 years ago....what a great life, and thanks for his service! RIP !

I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to take lessons from Terry when I was 14. He was an excellent instructor and I think of him often when I hit an overhead. He had a great, long life.

Mr. Scott played an important role in my life. He gave me the confidence in my tennis ability, always telling me that my forehand was my strongest weapon. He was so smart, witty and so kind. I will always remember the tennis foursome at Cooper Creek, Terry, Judge Cohn, Mr Shields, Mr. Styles and others. I will miss Mr. Scott. He did so much to advance the game of tennis in Columbus. My thoughts and prayers are with his family!

Angela

Michelle and family: I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. He lived a wonderfully full life. To God be the glory for his longevity. May God's grace and the sweet memories carry you all through this time of sorrow. Rest well Mr. Scott.

Mr. Scott played a memorable role in my life. He gave me the confidence to play tennis and always told me that if I used my forehand the way he taught me then I would win every time. He instilled in me the ability to play against anyone no matter how long they had been playing. He called me Dean all the time and it stuck. I will miss his sense of humor, his wisdom and his ability to make me laugh. He accomplished so much for tennis in Columbus! My thoughts and prayers are with the family....

He will be missed. He was a mentor , friend, and as close to a parent as I have known. I will miss him greatly and sorry I won't be able to attend the funeral. With Gods Grace, Charles Denton
