Mr. Spencer was the type of guy that always greeted you with that wry smile, sharp wit and lovable charm. I don't know what it was, but I always seemed to have a better outlook on life after having a conversation with him. He seemed to bring it out of you.

I have many fond memories the 48 yrs. or so that we have known each other.The one that will stand out in my mind is when we were fishing for walleye on Lake Erie.We were on our way back to shore and the motor stopped running. There we were so far out that we could not see the shore line. Had to have the Coast Guard come and tow us in. Quite an experience.There are too many memories to list here. It has been quite a "ride" knowing you.
