Terry “Tap” Lee Weems, a lifelong resident of Bradley, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 at the age of 71 years old.


Terry loved horses, hunting, gardening and all things outdoors. He spent many years working as a carpenter using his skills and talents to build many homes and businesses. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with the light of his life his granddaughter, Tara.


Terry was preceded in death by his parents Terrell and Hazel Weems, and his beloved son Brian.


Terry is survived by his devoted wife, Kay, of 49 years; brother, Odis Weems, wife Gayla of Plain Dealing, Louisiana; brother Carl Weems, of Bradley, Arkansas; brother in law Richard Baker, wife Rosemary of Sarepta, Louisiana; sister in law Rayette Nealy of Bradley, Arkansas; daughter in law, Elaina Weems; grand-daughters Jaiclyn Lindsey and Tara Weems all of Bradley, Arkansas; two special men who were like sons Willie Weems of Texarkana, Arkansas and John Stone of Gillam, Louisiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.


Pall bearers will be Willie Weems, John Stone, Frankie Haltom, Todd Spakes, Eric Carroll, and Robert Byrd.


Graveside services are pending.
