Not sure what to say?

So sorry I missed his obituary but I just had to add my belated comment. In 38 years of teaching and coaching he was to me THE most enjoyable student of the thousands. Bright, funny, respectful and busy. I watched as he and Mike Alvord took over running a thriving business while but seniors in high school. I can now admit I regularly invested in the sports pools he ran out of the school bookstore which he managed. His friendships included everyone and his success in any chosen field was...

Terry was such a special person - like family to us. Anyone in Sevierville that knew him had the privilege of friendship from a man that never met a stranger. Always there with a helping hand or words of wisdom, he was the “Mayor” and will be sorely missed. Our hearts break with yours Lou Ann. Our deepest sympathies and prayers for you and family. God Bless. Love Steve and Helen

Dear Jerry, Carol and family . . . I am so sorry to hear of Terry's passing. The few times I saw him at your house, we thought he was a delight. I will be thinking of you at this difficult time, my heart breaks for you.

Dear Lou Ann and family
I am so very sorry for your loss of Terry and was shocked when Sherry told me. May precious memories comfort all of you during this difficult time and prayers and love surround you. God bless!
Love,
Terri Jester and family

We knew terry as boating members of Useppa and in 2014 he sold us our home on Useppa. He was a great friend and we were unhappy to see him and LouAnn leave and move to Tennessee. He and LouAnn rescued German shepherds in SW Florida and loved them and his Keeshond too. He will be sorely missed by all his friends!

My condolences! We graduated together from R-P. So sorry for you loss.

Terry was a best friend the day you met him. Alway loaded with information on Cabin improvements. Terry and trivia at Bluffs were alway one of the best parts of Tennessee
He was our go to Mayor, our friend.
Our heart breaks for LouAnn , god blessed her with a once and a lifetime love and partner

I remember him as caring and a wonderful classmate. He will be missed

Sorry to hear this, have many good memories of growing up with Terry in Muskegon.
