Terry Wirth

Terry Wirth, age 67, of Frazee, MN, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, October 11, 2015. Terry was born August 6, 1948, in Perham, MN, to Edward and Arlice (Franklin) Wirth. He grew up in Silver Leaf Township, Becker County, MN, where he attended country school District #85.  He graduated from Frazee High School with the class of 1966.  He then gained employment with Delbert Drewes, doing outdoor construction work until 1968.  He married Judy Schwoboda on July 21, 1968, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.  The couple made their home in St. Paul, MN, where they had 2 daughters, Sherry and Jewley.  Terry worked at UOP Johnson Screens in St. Paul until 1978, when he was transferred to Citrus Heights, California, where he worked as the plant manager until 1988.  The family then made their home in Frazee, MN.  Terry worked at Glacier Concrete in Detroit Lakes, then was the manager at the Frazee Municipal Liquor Store for a couple of years, then Sherbrook Paving in Detroit Lakes, and also was an independent truck driver from 2001 until his declining health led him to retirement in December 2011.

He was a hard worker, and enjoyed hunting in his spare time, especially goose hunting with his grandchildren, or ice fishing with his Dad. During his younger years, he also enjoyed snowmobiling.

Terry is survived by his wife, Judy of Frazee; 2 daughters: Sherry (Jeff) Seegert of Felton, MN and Jewley Wirth of Frazee; 5 grandchildren: Cory (Crystal) Seegert of Wahpeton, ND, Kassy Seegert of Fargo, ND, Brady Seegert of Felton, MN, Harley Ellingson of Frazee and Hailey Ellingson of Frazee; 2 great grandchildren: Cayden and Walter Seegert; mother, Arlice Wirth of Frazee; 2 brothers: Kelly (Julie) Wirth and Randy (Amy) Wirth both of Frazee; along with numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his dad, Edward.
