Not sure what to say?

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

May his soul rests in peace. He was one of the best Ethiopian scholars.

Fikirte and her siblings have always spoken of their father with such warmth, love, humor and respect. He was truly her hero and will continue to be an inspiration to every life he touched. He always treated us with sincerity and kindness, and had a gentle teasing nature that made people naturally comfortable around him. The world is a bit less bright without his spirit shining among us, and our hearts go out to his wife, family and friends during this painful time.

We lost a giant figure in our family - father, uncle, mentor, supporter, and more. Thank you for all that you have done for our family. May your soul rest in eternal peace♥

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Professor Wagaw. I was one of his students and appreciated his wisdom, and also his providing me with some insights into his culture.

Dear Fikirte and family. Nanette, myself and our girls, Olivia and Ava all send our condolences to you. While we did not meet your Father, the fact he raised one of the kindest, nicest and very successful daughter like you is surely testament to what a wonderful human being he must have been. Our best wishes from Miami, much love, the Maules

Our deepest condolences to the family! Our prayers are with you all ❤We lost a beautiful soul.
