Not sure what to say?

My condolences. Did not know or meet Mr. Beyle. I am from South Africa and I have one of his books. Bought it in a second book store.

It's been a long time, but my memories of working with Thad and then becoming friends with him and Pat remain cherished. Thad was a warm, funny, kind, and really really smart man. Love and condolences to the family.

God Bless Dr.Beyle, a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. His sense of humor, in the media and especially at home, is much missed in these turbulent times. His generous nature even forgave those of his sons' friends who may possibly have been bad influences. Always seemed to find the joy. God bless Pat, all the kids and the entire family

I met and worked with Thad at the NCCPPR. I enjoyed his intelligence, wit and kindness. He left a great legacy in ways professional and personal. May he rest in peace.

My favorite professor of all and probably the only one I remember by name after all these years. And he was as engaging outside of class as he was in the classroom. What a good man. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

Pat and family I am so sorry to read of Thad's passing. I think of you frequently as I pass by SeaSide at WB. My condolences and prayers.

A gifted teacher, a valued friend, an effective advocate for doing the people's business in ways that are effective and inclusive; people who really believe that democracy can work are in his debt.

May you rest in peace, Thad. You gave of yourself to all of us who were your students. You gave to our state and the South by helping create the Southern Growth Policies Board. You were a man of peace, humility, love, and service. You will always be near and dear to my heart. Thank you for your many gifts, and your life of service.
