Thaddeus B. "Chester" Florynski, age 72, of Lemont. Preceded in death by his parents, Bazyli and Aniela Florynski; two brothers and three sisters, Stanley, Stella, Sophia (Joseph) Cygan, Chester, Rosalie Pasierb; survived by his wife, Joan, nee Cielesz, Florynski; his son, Thaddeus Jr. (Diane); two granddaughters, Emily and Aspen; brothers-in-law, Edward Pasierb, Edward (Sandra) Cielesz; sister-in-law, Phyllis Florynski; numerous nieces and nephews. He moved to Lemont from Chicago in 1958, the same year he graduated from St. Rita High School. Retired in 2006, after 42 years of driving a truck. He was a member of Teamsters Local 705. Also the CTDU, Loyal Order of Moose Lockport Lodge #1557, the PRUCA and was an active member of the SS. Cyril Methodius of the St. Cyril and Methodius Holy Name Society. Visitation Friday, Jan. 20 2012, 2 to 8 p.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C., 108 Illinois St., Lemont. Funeral Services Saturday, Jan 21, 2012, 9:30 a.m., from the funeral home, to St. Cyril and Methodius Church for Mass, 608 Sobieski, Lemont. Interment Parish Cemetery. Dear Joan, Teddy and Family,

I will always remember the times we spent with Ted and Teddy on the Boy Scout camp outs. We will truly miss him. The world was a better place with Ted. We will keep you in our prayers, and when I hear those polka's Ted always comes to mind.
