In 1970 I was lucky to have Than instruct my Confirmation class at the Valley Jewish Community Center, now called Adat Ari El, in North Hollywood CA. I believe the class was improvisational drama, and it was quite a treasure to be taught by him.

He was a fine actor but what I admire most about Mr. Wyenn is his 71-year marriage. It was obvious that he was devoted to Guy and I enjoyed reading about how they met and their love for each other. I have a question for any member of the Wyenn family, if one of them would contact me I'll go from there.

I knew Than when was the drama teacher at the City Terrace Folk Shule in the late 1940's and early 1950's and continued to meet him in the years since. He was a driving force, wonderfully warm person and is fondly remembered by all of his former students. He had a full and rich and life. My condolences to Guy, their sons, and the whole family. Than brought me my wonderful friend Morgan and for that I am very grateful. She is a kind, warm, caring, funny, intelligent person; attributes I'm sure handed down by her grandfather.
