Not sure what to say?

Brother Kelly Jr. was such a great friend to the Heard Family, the City of Charlotte Black Community, NAACP Charlotte Chapter, Citizens of Charlotte, and the State of North Carolina. I just learned today, 2-13-2025, Kelly had passed. Please accept my much delayed condolence. Both brothers and staff rendered excellent service for both my parents; Gwendolyn Heard 11-17-2017 and subsequent Memorial Service 5-2018, and Isaac Heard, Sr. 03-07-2021. Sorry for your loss.

Kelly Alexander with Alexander Funeral Home give me my 1st funeral service job after completing Mortuary school and I will forever be grateful. Although I was too young to really appreciate his intellectual conversations, I was always impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. His resume speaks for the outstanding man that he was. I pray that he rest well knowing he left this world a better place than he found it. Truly, Lakeisha Hoover- Baptist

Kelly your character, commitment and vision were visible so early on when we met as teenagers for a state student government meeting. I shall never forget you and the unique way you honored your cultural, family and social legacies throughout your well-lived life. I celebrate you always.
