Not sure what to say?

Precious memories, how the linger. As I remember my Friend, Big Brother, and at one time Boss, I will forever remember him and his caring concern and kindness he showed me as well as my children, niece, and nephews, who called him Uncle Willie, and my family and how he could make us laugh in good times as well as bad.
My thoughts and prayers goes out to his Wife, May's Mortuary Staff, and Family that as you face each upcoming day, you will find comfort in the care and concern of each...

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. You will truly never be forgotten and your humanitarian efforts and services to the CSRA can never be matched . Blessings to you Raye (Lisa) and the rest of the family as I will keep you fervently lifted in prayer. God Bless

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Earlene Abrams , Atlanta

May God bless the soul and memory of Mr. Willie Mays III . Truly a great servant to our community and his profession. Our families have known each other for two generations . My prayers are with the family at this time.

Through the wide benevolent spirit of Mr. Mays, everyone was greeted and treated with dignity of family. A premier storyteller, the open heart of Mr. Mays is also a vault of Augusta's cultural heritage. From days spent with his great aunt iconic educator Ursula Collins, his grandmother Haines Institute graduate Ethel Hudson Mays, his extended family in Lincoln County, and recalling the verve of his father's memories he meticulously absorbed the accolades, tribulations, and daily experiences...

My heartfelt condolences to Lisa, the Mays family and the staff of Mays Funeral Home.
May you be comforted by the outpouring of love surroundings you, during this difficult time.

Willie’s love, compassion, empathy to all families and to the communities will never be forgotten... Yes, He will missed because He loved the people and the people loved Him.
May you “Rest ln Peace,” for you’ve fought a good fight!

I have known Mr. Mays since I was a teenager. He was always so kind and would do anything to help anybody. He has taken care of all funeral needs of just about my whole family. Sincere, gentle, compassionate, and unforgettable are the words that I can best describe him. He will be truly missed and definitely left a mark in the world that can never be erased. Thank you Mr. Mays for all that you have done for my family. Shalonda Vann McNair

My old runnin potnah..... big brother.....one of the key people who helped me cope with my having to suddenly move back to my hometown temporarily 25 years ago........ Mannn the memories..... the lessons & advice you gave me (mainly about Augusta GA politics), the public appearance-debates-church rounds with you on your political campaign trail, the FUN we used to get into, our road trips, and especially the key influential people you introduced me to.... Gonna miss u big brother...thank you...

Thinking of you during this time of loss knowing that as special as the Honorable Mays’ was to our community, these memories will never be forgotten.

May each memory become a special treasure that will bring peace and comfort to your hearts.

Raye, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
