Not sure what to say?

March 18, 2007

I extend my deepest condolences to the entire DeFee Family in the recent demise of your Father, Theddis DeFee who passed away this month. He shall rest in perfect peace. May God and his Angels watch over him in heaven always and forever. Amen

Daddy was a very special person. To hear people talk about all the special things that he did for them was a wonderful legacy. His children and his grandchildren have a legacy that will be hard to follow. I am so glad that he is heaven with God and with my Mother. I asked him what right did he have to die and go to heaven and see my mother before I did and his reply was "What do you mean?? Your mama's waiting for me because its not heaven without me!" I'll always remember the way Poppi laughed so heartily when he cracked one of his jokes. Yet on the flip side of that character, he was always so caring and truly treated me just like a daughter. I'll miss having him as an advisor and confidante; but his love, confidence, and respect will still continue to encourage me. May God comfort all our hearts with His peace.

Our love and prayers are with you. Your Dad was always a good friend. We sure did enjoy not only being neighbors with your family, but having you join our family. We love you all very much. May God bless and comfort each one of you.

Mike,

you and your family are in mine and my family's prayers.

I will miss Grandma and Poppi. They gave their love freely and abundantly. Now that they are gone from this Earth, what I prize most that they gave me is their respect. I will live with joy knowing that my actions and choices brought them a feeling of pride. It is my prayer that I live my life for the glory of God and in honor of those loved ones who have come before me.

Peggy,Angie,Amy,and family I am so sorry to hear the loss of your father and grandfather. May God comfort you and keep you. With deepest sympathy.

Please accept our sympathy. Wanda and I worked at the Shipyard together many years ago.
