She was a funny, charming lady,andI know she's leading a activity in heaven.

Our mother was an extraordinary woman. She grew up on a farm in Massachusetts during World War I and learned the value of hard work and determination very early in life. She put herself through nursing school in Philadelphia. She then moved to a small town in Maine where she met and married our father. They had three children. She was a working Mom when most other mothers were at home full time. She was a young widow in her early 40's who was left with two teenagers and a preschooler to...
