Susan and I have been close friends since we were 4 years old. I have always thought of Thelma as another mom and a very elect lady.

Aunt Thelma was always remembered, loved and highly respected by my parents (Art and Margarette Malstrom). As a small child, I was in her home and I admired her home making talents. I especially remember seeing the beautiful doll clothes she made for Joan. My husband, Bill, and I visited her in Salt Lake several years ago. She welcomed us so warmly and we shared our family photos and the many memories of years gone by. We were thankful for her and Boyd, Doug and Julia, Joan and Susan all...

I have fond memories of Aunt Thelma, Uncle Boyd, and Susan. I used to fly to Utah to visit them in the summer. Susan and I had many laughs and talks together. What an amazing family. Uncle Boyd would play the piano, and Aunt Thelma was such a classy, talented, funny, spiritual lady. She was also a wonderful homemaker. It is incredible how one family can remain an influence in a person's life for over 40 years. Aunt Thelma will always remain an elect lady in my mind and heart. What a...

We are friends of Doug and Julia Nielson and while we did not know Thelma we know Doug and Julia, and we know what a wonderful people they are. Her son Doug is an outstanding man and priesthood holder. We are sure that a wonderful mother helped instill in him those Christ like qualities that he so kindly exhibits. We know that Thelma enjoyed a wonderful reunion with her family when she passed through the veil. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Nielson family and we know the Lord will...
