Not sure what to say?

I have only just learned of Theo's passing. What a wonderful, warm and unique person he was. He was so helpful when deciding what instruments to buy my daughter. This is heartbreaking...

Hello, I had the chance to meet Theo in Antigua Guatemala about two weeks before his passing, I want to send my condolences. He was an kind and fun man with a great philosophy on life. I originally met him in passing at a restaurant and he asked for a lighter. After that I had 4 encounters with him over the span of a week, always spontaneously. We had some great conversation over breakfast before I left Antigua. His love for cats, and other wildlife was super cool, his edgy humour was able to...

I´m so very sorry, Suzanne, to learn of the loss of your son. Your words reflect such love and pride. What an inspiring life he led! There are almost no words for the loss of a child, but you found them and I felt as if I knew him as I read your words. May prayers, memories, and maybe the rosaries he collected all help you through this grief that you´ll always have. I´m so sad for you; I know how much you have loved each of your children. With love, Sue Campbell, WHS 1966

The bestAlways smiling, always engaging , encouraging and kindHe shared so much of his light in his zest for life, his love for humanity and his exciting and vigorous conversations... I was blessed to know him and to share a table on the deck at was once the Brass RailI will remember him with fondness and a smile

I was very sad to read about Theo´s passing. I worked at the Waterford Rec and Park where he would frequently ride his bike to work out at our gym. He always made a point to say hello and to see how I was doing followed by an amazing explanation of his next adventure - like hiking alone in South America.. I thought how brave but more importantly; I thought how beautiful that he lived his life on his own terms without fear and with such an enthusiasm for life! He left such a great impression...

Sue and Tom, I was shocked and saddened to hear about Theo. I only talked to him once one night at Millstone, and found him very engaging. So sorry.

My condolences to the Maryeski and Madara families. Such a beautiful, write up of Theo´s amazing life. May you memories of him comfort you. From your old Lloyd Road neighbor

Just one day of many we spent together at Bike New London. July of 2016, doing free repairs at a Farmer's Market. Theo gave of his time freely but valued his time highly. He was intent, intense, and intentional in his volunteering with Bike NL, and helped the organization survive from a small pop-up "Summer Shop" to, now 10 years of successful work. I always learned from him, whether I meant to or not. He made sure. Any adversity, whether it was mechanical or personality, he just...
