Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Lumpkin & Family,
I first studied about the Tuskegee Airmen in school. Years later, The Tuskegee Airmen awarded my daughter, "Star," a Scholarship. She attended USC where she obtained two degrees. I will be forever grateful to GOD for guiding Mr. Lumpkin and his fellow Airmen into the path and purpose of True Leadership and Mentorship.
On behalf of me, my family, all of the other parents, students, and Christians whos lives have been touched by Mr. Lumpkin and the Airmen,...

I did not personally know Mr. Lumpkin, but I recently saw mention of him on ABC News honoring those who were taken from us by COVID. Mr. Lumpkin was honored a few years ago for his service at a Lynx game that I attended, but I´d heard of him before. As a fourth generation Minnesotan, I was always so proud to know that my state was represented by a Tuskegee airman. His life and historical service mattered: may his family feel some comfort in that knowledge.

Dearest Lumpkin Family,

I so adored your Father, Grandfather, Loved one! He was such an inspiration to me, and I shall never forget both his "order to get the job done", and his encouragement when I was appointed by Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa to serve as a Department of Water and Power Commissioner. Mr. Lumpkin appointed me to get the LADWP Community Room on Crenshaw rebuilt, because it had been burned several years and had not yet been repaired-- that was in 2005! ...

Sincere condolences to the Lumpkin Family. May Almighty God in the Heavens comfort all who is the hearer of prayers be with you in your time of need with his loving kindness and peace as He strengthens you during this difficult time as you cope with this precious loss in your lives. May family, friends and extended family cherish his memories. Thank you for Mr. Theodore 'Ted' Lumpkin's contribution in organization’s mission.

As I walk through the Veteran Cemtery in Westwood California, one thing always invades my thoughts...thank you for saving this country and our gift of freedom. Tuskegee Airman Theodore Lumpkin, thank you and your
couragous comrads for loving this country. We have seen how fragile freedom and democracy can be when tested. All of us who love this country salute you with every free thought and free idea. Rest in peace having lived a truly generous life!

Rest in Peace, Sir

I knew Ted as a member of our local park (Harvard Park) tennis club. Ted always exhibited qualities of a gentleman and conducted himself in a manner befitting a sportsman. Our condolences to the family and may he be at peace with our father in heaven.

An amazing legacy, my sincere sympathies to the Lumpkin family and friends, may God give you the comfort and strength you need as you go through this very difficult time of your loss.

In loving memory of a wonderful person, who lived a full life. I hope the love of God friends and family carry you though this difficult time.
