Not sure what to say?

In front of the Ted's folks house circa 1977

Sorry this is late but I just heard of Ted's passing over the Xmas holiday. To the Arl kids and family. My deepest sympathies. My heart goes out to you. Ted was my best friend for many years when I lived in Illinois. He, Gary Franceschini, and I were the three amigos. Ted and I were gear heads. I painted his grabber blue Boss 302 at my bodyshop. Ted was the best man at my Wedding back in 1980. Unfortunately we drifted apart over the years. I would concur with everyone else that Ted was a very...

I am still in a state of shock to hear that Ted is gone. My husband and I both worked with him at Woodfield and then later at I worked with him at Fox Valley Ford. He was a dear friend and will be missed. Everytime I hear Jimmy Buffet I think of him and always will.
Our hearts and prayers go out to the family that meant the world to him.

I am shocked by it still. To think that Mr. Arl is gone is unbelieveable. I was his #1 fan, and and he was such a friendly guy to me, he always made me laugh and that made me feel welcome when I came over to his house. I'll miss him very much, and it still saddens me to know that he isn't around anymore.

Ted, you will be missed. You were a great friend and athlete. I was your next door neighbor growing up with you, Janet and my sister Julie. Mike & Bob from accross the street, Karen Dady, Jim Newman, John Dominico... all of us played tackle football, gold bar, and baseball at the St. Joseph school. Sled down the snow covered hills, rode on honda hills, etc. Glad to hear you had kids, hope they turned out just like you. Miss ya. Scott

To the Arl Family,
We lived next door to the Arl place in Holiday. We got to talk to Ted the day before he passed and had a wonderful conversation. He was excited that he would be coming to FL more often now and thanked us for watching the house when he wasn't here. We were just getting to know him really well and will miss him very much. Our hearts go out to you the family and if there is anything we can do we would be happy to help. Ted was a great guy.

Dear Jessica, Tyler & Zach,

Your dad was not only my brother's neighbor, but also his friend. My family and I had the pleasure of meeting your father and enjoyed seeing and talking with him at the holidays. He was a man with a good spirit and a kind heart. We, among many others, are glad to have met him. I am very sad for your loss. No words can heal your sadness, but memories can bring comfort. So long Ted, we'll all miss you, you were a Great Dad. Jessica keep Shining, you are...

Dad,
I'm so happy you got your last wish, to be in Florida. Something you've always wanted. I will miss you so much dad especially when we would play catch and when you would time me around the block. I'm so excited for track so you can watch me in all my races. I can't wait until I move to Florida and prove to you that I'm not going to back out of it! Anyways, you were the best dad ever and I love you so much. Thanks for giving me the best memories ever. They will stay with me until the...

This block is not going to be the same without you Ted. There wasn't a day that we didn't see you getting a game of catch going or shooting a few hoops. You were the neighborhood dad always there to have a good time with all the kids. You will be missed! Save us a spot in Margeritaville.
