Listening to Steely Dan's "Two Against Nature" project and decided to google Ted. Had NO idea he had passed. Condolences to his family.

Ted and I shared a stage at Oberlin a few times. He and I did a trio version (clar-vln-piano) of The Soldier's Tale at my Junior Recital. I'm proud to have known and worked with him, and saddened to learn of his passing. RIP Ted.

Teddy, Theo, Taaaaad. Yes he was a great musician. He was an even better friend and even better human being. Teddy, you will be missed. I´m so grateful to know you. Ted, you were my friend to nerd out on aesthetic considerations of Miles records and the person who reminded me to recycle. I´m just going to enjoy memories of 40 years of friendship, music and good food. So long my good friend. Skip
