Ted was always kind to everyone and always willing to help. He had a special kind of humor that we all enjoyed. Ted's many students at Westlake High are fortunate to have been in his classes. He was very knowledgeable of his subject and gave many of them an interest in history.

Mr. Bender was a great teacher, I had the pleasure of being in his law class in 1986. I always will remember him with great memories, he is one of the teachers that I really respected and liked.
