Ted was a great guy. My short time at Sid Harvey's( 18 months)in Newark in the 70s have stayed in my memory in a good way and Ted was a big reason for my positive thoughts. My brother Tom also worked for Sid Harvey's and ran his own store for awhile, but unfortunately my brother developed schizophrenia ( undiagnosed at the time) and his behavior ( non violent) became uneven . Ted was a GREAT person. I enjoyed working with him at Sid's. Once in a while when he was at the Newark store he would bring us a loaf of Rye bread, it was still warm when he got the Brick. We would get butter sit and eat just that. I will always remember that, fishing with him and many other fond memories. .

So sorry to hear of Ted passing. I always liked working with Ted at Sid Harvey's. He was always smiling and laughing. Ted was very helpful to me in my early stages of working at Sid Harvey's. There was always a joke amongst branches that Ted would visit, that he was on first name basis with AAA. Because he was always running low on gas. So sorry again to hear of his passing. Rest in peace and God bless Ted.
