Roggie was to me a most loyal, as well as intellectual, in house counsel, while I was outside counsel retained to advise BHP Billiton. He used to call me up and ask for a legal opinion, but he would ask me to give it in a day or two, after I "noodled it around", even though I thought I could then provide the answer. But as I thought about the problem, my answer was often not what it woulds have been on the day he asked the question. He was indeed very wise.

I remember when I was visiting ophthalmology programs in your area and Roggie and you were so generous to let me stay with you in your beautiful home and to show me around town.
