As a college student in the summer of 1963 I worked with three others on a UCC project in Philly and stayed with Ted (and Fanny and toddler Norman) in a large row house near Temple. It was a transformative experience for me, and I credit much to incredible discussions and prodding of how our theology intersects with our justice work. In later years I noted Ted's work with the UCC nationally. What an incredible legacy he leaves the world - and a personal legacy to me.

My deepest sympathy and love to you both, Norman and Janet, on the loss of your father/father in law. Hoping that the memories of good times together and the comfort of family and friends will ease the burden of your family´s loss.
