Not sure what to say?

Thank you Ted for your guidance and several enlightening and warm conversations in your office.

Missing Ted and Sissy and their long legacy of showing curiosity, kindness and love every day, but how wonderful knowing their remarkable spirit continues on in such a vast network of family and friends.

To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Sissy through Woodside School & met Ted through my visits with her. He was always such a kind, warm gentleman. I loved to go visit them. He will be missed, as is Sissy. Tina

My sympathies and condolences for the Geballe family. Ted was warm and a generous mentor, and his blessings and teaching shall be remembered. Phillip Wu and family

Ted was a great physicist and a mensch. He embodied kindness and humility. He presented both criticism and ideas with tact. I'm glad he and Sissy had the chance to live a long and full life together. He set an example for many of us, so his influence will live on.

Ted was a great role model for physicists everywhere. I only overlapped with him slightly at Bell Laboratories, since I arrived there only in 1966, but I did see him on occasions when he visited and other occasions thereafter. Most recently, I met with him on occasions when I visited Stanford, and he was certainly still lively and active. Ted will certainly be missed.

I always admired Ted as a scientist and for his warm personality. It was a privilege to have known him.

RIP Dad loved the last 5 years because of you I learned how to drive (kinda)because of you I learned about saving energy dry ice closing doors and most of all being loved!
