Theodore Paul Gregg

Ted was a good guy! In the early '70s, when we were grade school kids, I went to his house a few times way out Sunnyside Road... and we had a great time hiking around the woods. The cool waterfall near his house was a real treat! We also had a family outing to the beach, and Ted and I rented a bicycle built for two and cruised around Coos Bay city streets. His mom would let him eat sugary junk, and one time at a gas station he got a bottle of 7 Up and we split it before his mom knew. ...

Ted used to come in to where I tended bar. He took me to the farm for blueberries and peaches. He sent me one of the first copies of Last Request. I miss him.

Ted and I were friends in Milwaukie... we went to Christ the King together. He was a great friend!
