We offer our profound condolences to the Hanss family.
Ted will be deeply missed by anyone who had the pleasure to know him. Ted was a person that we could all aspire to be! The world has lost a wonderful man, but heaven is a better place with Ted in It's presence.

I was hoping to attend the funeral today, but the weather did not cooperate. Ruthanne, I met you a few times related to UMI employee gatherings. We are all so shocked and sorry to learn of his sudden death. He was a very nice man and will be deeply missed. I will keep your family and you in prayers.

Ted brought joy into our lives whether it was at work, on the golf course or at company related gatherings as recently as last September. Ted had a positive impact on countless lives and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ruthanne, Ted Jr., Michael and the rest...

My son Gregory commented the other day about what a nice man Colin's Grand pa was, when we heard the bad news. He will surely be missed. Steve...

Chris Pannell & Great Uncle Ted about 9 years ago.

Dear Aunt Ruthanne and your beautiful family ~ Uncle Ted was a man that I felt always had a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face. He always made me feel so welcome in the Hanss family every time I saw him. For that I am thankful and I am blessed to have known him. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Much Love, Patsy Pannell

I have known Ted since we moved to Hieber Rd. He was always willing to take time to share his friendship. I always admired his sense of humor, his concern for young people as we often share our teaching experiences. He lived his life around having a positive attitude, his humor and good natured disposition will be truely missed in Hieberspace. Our thoughts go out to family and friends and most of all to Ruthann.
