Mr Havlicek was my drafting teacher at MHS for a couple years. I was probably not the best student, but he was a great instructor and I actually intended to go into architecture due to his teaching. I ended up a in another area of design, but the skills he taught me will last a lifetime. RIP and condolences to the Havlicek family.

While I never had him as a teacher while attending MHS, it was great to get to know him as a co worker...he brought a great sense of humor to all of us working there.....

Mr. Havlicek was my math teacher at Milwaukie High in 1976-77... I really respected him, and he taught me well! Our yearbook has a photo of him in his trademark pose - hunched over the overhead projector, solving algebra problems for us all to see! My condolences to the family. He was a kind man.

I knew Ted for many, many years both as a fellow teacher at Milwaukie High School, and a business partner. He was a really good guy!

A wonderful music teacher from an old mold. Generous with the individual needs of each student. He made a special clas for serious musicians to introduce us to what we migh encounter in college music classes. When I was in cojjege I helped put a roof on his home in Milwaukie.. I was better prepared for my career in teaching and performing music because of his living example. His army experience made him see the humor and reality of life. A great human being!
