Theodore J. Horvath

Ted Horvath was THE REASON my mom smiled in her last years of her long life. She married Ted when she was 97 years old - and they were like two teens in love during their courtship and marriage. Ted was the backbone of Rainey Institute for more than 60 years, starting when he was still In his '20's. He loved the children served by the Agency as though they were his kids, and the main gathering room of the new 12-year-old building at East 55th and Payne is appropriately called "Ted's Place."
