I grew up speed skating at Iorio Arena in Walpole. Not only was Ted generous to the speed skating club, but he was cool enough to continually get on the ice himself! Ted was one of the nicest guys I ever met on the ice in the nearly 15 years I skated. He will be missed!

He was a wonderful person, the best teacher, to all of us he will always be remembered as a man both strong and good, who did the best for others and who did the best he could.
