I've known Ted and Lonnie for 40 years having come by their wonderful friendship while in a California college. Before they married I lived in the same household with Lonnie and her collie, Cheetah. They would go to Holland yearly to see Lonnie's Mom, Neldja. I was able to do that once. I felt like part of the family.
