Dr. Theodore R. Lee Jr.

Dr Lee was the first Black principal at Albert Sidney Johnston Elementary School. I was in the first Black
graduating class (1959/60).
When my mother passed away in 1960, Principal Lee paid condolences to my family. That act of kindness has stayed with me down through the years. I kept up with his achievements by reading the papers and was proud to have known him even from afar.
The family have condolences and prayers during your time of bereavement.

I'm so sorry to hear about Dr. Lee's passing. It was my middle school principal at Oliver Wendell Holmes. He was an excellent administrator and created an environment for learning. My prayers are with his family.
