Not sure what to say?

Unfortunately, it has taken me a couple of years to post this, but Uncle Ted has never been far from our thoughts. He was one of the main reasons I started running marathons and climbing mountains. One day, when my dad (his brother) was in the hospital, he asked if I was working out and I said "no". It took a few years but I finally did. We used to play chess together - he always beat me.

What Uncle Teddy did in his life was so special, he was writing code before anyone knew what...

Ted,
I was a young man of 24 when we met at Trident Tech. Like most college graduates, I thought I was going to conquer the world. Your guidance and business knowledge helped me put life in perspective and got me started towards a very successful career. Thanks you Ted for all you did for me and many, many others.

Sincerely,
Bob Frankovich

I am so sorry to hear of Ted's passing;he was a great guy! I knew him from playing chess at Melody Manor and then later at the Library on Lee Rd. & Edgewater Dr. What a mellow and friendly guy & a pretty strong chess player to boot! He was the guy who kept the Blitz chess club going by taking the trouble to carrying the chess sets and chess clocks to the library every saturday rain or shine and from my point of view received very little credit and recognition for all the work he did making a...

Ted Lewis was one of the finest men I've ever known. I cannot think of anyone I respect more. He was a talented instructor that was able to get the very best from his students and all of them that I know speak of him with respect and appreciation.

I consider myself so fortunate to have known him and to have worked with him.

Sorry to hear of Ted's passing. I knew Ted from the Central Florida Chess Club back starting in the 80's . He was always friendly and just a nice guy to have around. I will miss him .
