Not sure what to say?

My condolences to your family. Mr. Mappus taught me in Sunday School in Junior and Senior High. He taught us so much, so well.

Teddy,
Kaye and I send our deepest condolences. Mr Ted was a class act and what a pleasure it was to see him on Sunday mornings. Always a kind word for anyone he spoke with. It was an honor to know him.

I was so very sorry to learn of Ted's passing. I was fortunate enough to get to know him through St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, through politics and serving on the delegation together, through the insurance business and through community work. Thanks to all of you for sharing him with the rest of us. He will be missed.
I hate that I missed paying my respects but I have been -- and still am -- in the hospital.

To the Mappus Family - Our sincerest condolences on your giant loss. Our world would be a far difference place right now if there were just a few more human beings with Ted's countless and wonderful human attributes sprinkled around in the right places. When I took over the responsibilities of getting Patriots Point back on track 28 years ago as a new arrival in South Carolina, Ted immediately took me under his wing and mentored me safely through both the many political and good old boy...

We are so sorry for your loss.

I did not know you but I know your daughter Nancy. She is my artistic director in the Tampa Oratorio Singers. She is a fine gal and wonderful to sing for. She has such a gift for music and expression. You should be proud of her.

To Teddy, Nancy, Mary Ann, and the rest of the family: I was so sad to learn of Ted's passing. Now he and Polly will be together once more! They were the best Godparents to me! I loved them both so very much! I love you all, too! I would like to bring something to help y'all feed the crowds I know will be coming over. Lots of hungry children :) Unfortunately, she will not be able to attend the funeral. Prayers for you all! Much love, Jan

Teddy, I was so sorry to hear of your loss . Your father was truly a class act. You certainly have wonderful memories to comfort you. I feel privileged to have known him.Hank

Nancy, I am terribly sorry to hear of your father´s passing. I will not be able to attend the visitation or services, but I will keep your family and you in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you find comfort in the many years of wonderful memories you have with your father. With Deepest Sympathy, Debbie Elliott Hanna
