Dr. Theodore C. Max

I was saddened to recently hear of Dr. Max's passing.
It has been 43 years since I graduated from St Elizabeth's Nursing school, and worked on the Special Care Unit. I was always amazed at how very kind and patient he was with everyone. Staff, and patients alike, loved him.
He was always ready to teach, and there was never a question that he didn't appreciate being asked.
I will never forget all that he taught me, and I will keep your family in my prayers.

Just heard the sad news. What a wonderful man and surgeon. Dr. Max was the first physician I met when I started working at St. Luke's in 1992.

aDusty and i meet Melva and Ted in China while attending a People to People meeting, and they have been our very dear friends since. We will miss Ted so much, and our love and sympathy go out to Melva and family.

My thoughts are with all of you. Dr. Max was a such a wonderful person and surgeon.
