Not sure what to say?

Well Ruthie (That's what your Dad called you to us) my husband Joe Carlson went to school with your Dad and was one of Joe's best friends. We enjoyed our visits to the Kneeland home and it's rustic comfort & beauty. He was one of the first people I was introduced to when we moved back to Crescent City from Alaska. Your Dad's stories were such fun..... You were truly loved and blessed.

Ruth was lucky to have you as a dad, and you were lucky to have her as a daughter!

This is Dads Kneeland home! He loved this house!

I wrote this obituary for the love of my Dad and perhaps closer for me! He was my Dad since I was 12 yrs old. He taught me love goes beyond the boundaries of biological relations. He loved my children as his own, they called him PopI ( my son named him this when he was very little) Dad was an amazing man, gentle and kind. He was stricken with Alzheimer's in the last yrs of his life. But Dad is at peace now and in his right mind.

Ted is an ever present part of our family and friends lives through his "Ted and Barney's Meat Seasoning". My oldest son just asked last night for another supply. I guess it's not a bad way to be remembered when you're involved in the preparation of so many culinary delights. I personally have been enriched by my relationship with Ted. We always had a good laugh and that too is a great way to be remembered. He accompanies me still at the stove or BBQ and I am better for knowing him. Thanks Ted!
