Not sure what to say?

Dear Meiners Family,

I am sorry for your loss. I know he will be missed terribly. He really enjoyed bringing babies into the world! He was with me through 11 pregnancies. I'm sure that our two losses were as sad for him as they were for us. He was so proud of his family and always saying something about one of the family members with joy and excitement. When in the delivery room, we always heard him coming, he'd be whistling or singing. When I was about to deliver our last child, he...

Dear David and Family, I am sorry for you loss. What a great Man your father was.

I adored Dr. Meiners. He delivered my first born son with joy and humor. Sending you all love and peace at this difficult time.

I am sorry for your loss. What a great man! I began seeing Dr. Meiners when I was a nursing student at St Luke's Hospital School of Nursing. He delivered my first and third children, and would have delivered the second, he but was out of town, so Dr. Pearce delivered her. He was always very kind, fatherly and always had a smile!

Fond memories of a great neighbor.

Dear Emilie and Nest,

You are all in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. Needless to say it is a life to be celebrated! A wonderful physician!
My sister and I were delivered by Dr. Meiners' father-in-law Myron Davis along with more cousins than I can count. My 4 brothers were delivered by Dr. Meiners along with even more cousins than I can count. If you had a problem, you just called the home phone and heard "Dr. Meiners". One thing is for sure, you...

One of my best mentors I loved him!

Dr. Meiners was a joy to visit while I was pregnant and after!! Not only was he intelligent with a wealth of knowledge related to his role but he had the MOST WONDERFUL way of making me feel special, cared for and secure in the knowledge he knew what to do at EVERY visit and with each pregnancy!!! He served as an inspiration to me and I will truly miss him! THANK YOU FOR ALL THE YEARS OF WONDERFUL, THOUGHTFUL CARE!! AMAZING HOW MANY LIVES HE TOUCHED!!

Sincerely,
Donna Gauvain
