Theodore T. "Ted" Micka

What sad news. Somehow I just found out about Ted passing three years after the fact. I met Ted at work and then we discovered we lived on the same block! Ted was very generous and had me to dinner parties and offered me rides to work. He was kind and so easy to talk to. He was a positive person and his energy will be missed. Rest in peace, old friend.

For some reason today I was reminiscing about my life many years ago. I was thinking about some of the people who were part of my life when I first began college. Well Ted Micka and I were on the same hall during our freshman year at U. of P. We were friends and the things I most remember about Ted was his distinctive Philadelphia accent as well as his strong drive and ambition to succeed.
