Not sure what to say?

My wife Carol and myself wish to extend our condolences to the entire Nichols family . I just recently learned of Ted's passing and
wish I had known sooner so that I could have attended his memorial.
Ted was a great guy and will be dearly missed. I enjoyed helping him over the many years with my plastering and carpentry skills on misc. projects at his rental properties, his homes in W. Roxbury and Norwood, etc. I knew him since the late 80's when I met him at the Nichols Funeral...

Mr. Nichols was a rock and something of a hero to the Ryan family in Hyde Park. I lost count of how many members of the family he buried, but when he showed up at the door after a loved one passed away, you knew he would take care of all the arrangments and would keep you gently abreast of the details. He was an honorary member of more families than even he knew.

Who can forget his voice -the gentle confidence and reassurance he extended thousands of times to those grieving?...

I just learned of Ted's passing and feel so sad that he is gone. He was a second father to me and my roommates back in the 80's when he was our dear landlord. When my grandmother passed away in 1984, my father had no trouble remembering that she always said, "make sure Teddy buries me when I go." Ted helped me when my dear father died years later in 1990. He was a truly good and kind and generous man. He helped a family friend who lost his young wife to cancer several years ago also. The Lord...

What a kind gentleman. He buried both my parents and hired my visually impaired nephew to work in the home. He had many neighborhood kids working there and they were all the better for it.

RIP

Teddy was the greatest, The only mistake he ever made was getting mixed up with our family. But we loved him anyway.
I remember Judy telling me she was going to marry an undertaker. Well! Every family should have one. But three. Billy was driving a hearse nights and Judy was working the day shift. And Mark was shipping us off to heaven with a plenary indulgence pre-paid in the coffin. We couldn't croak fast enough to keep them all busy.
Of course the first time I met Ted was...
