Obituary

Mr. Theodore Francis Perry Sr., age 95, died peacefully at his home Thursday evening, March 27, 2008 with his loving family at his side. He was born June 29, 1912, in Georgia, son of the late Frank and Clara (Sholan) Perry. He graduated from Holy Angels High School. February 2, 1942 he married Rosaline Hemond. He assisted in the operations of his family farm for many years, and later worked in manufacturing at H.P. Hood and Sons, retiring in 1977. Ted had the Ted Perry Orchestra, playing violin, piano and many other instruments, and was heard by many singing on the radio.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Rosaline, his 7 children, Patricia Brodeur and her husband Paul of St. Albans, Marilyn Ruel and her husband Reggie, Nancy Fiore and her husband Carl, all of Bristol, CT, Theodore Perry Jr. and his wife Michelle of Colchester, James Perry and his wife Margaret of Sheldon, Susan Gallagher and her husband John of St. Albans, and Carol Perry of Swanton, 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, sisters Alta Mincey of La Mesa, CA, and Sally Lemnah and her husband Gordon of St. Albans, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, a daughter Sandra Irving and grandson Andrew Irving, and a sister Orphelia Moreau.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 31, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church with Father W. Andre Houle celebrating. Interment will be in the spring in the Perry family lot in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, St. Albans, from 2 to 5 P.M. Sunday. Memorials may be made to the charity of ones choice. An online condolence book and photo album has been established for Ted’s family and friends at the funeral home website: www.bnlfh .com. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home and Commemorative Services.
