Memorial Day in Upper Saddle River will not be the same. For years I would greet the Chief's father at the Borough Hall. He would come to pay his respect to those who lost their lives but more importantly he came to see his son. He was very proud that his son was the Chief of Police. As a father I can understand his great pride and love for family. I will miss him. May you rest in peace.
