Not sure what to say?

Dear Papa,
It's been almost 10 years, and I still miss you and think of you every day. I wish so badly that I had been home in Illinois to say goodbye. I was young and didn't understand the seriousness of what was going on. I wish I would have flown home as soon as I heard you were in the hospital. I love you so much, and I'm sorry I wasn't there.

Love,
Katie

Dad,
It's now been 6 months since that dreadful day. I try to think of the peace you feel now up in heaven with God and all of the family, but it doesn't help the heartache I feel each time I think of you. I never thought I could miss anyone as much as I miss you, it hurts. The kids have photos of you in their rooms and miss you too. I know you must not be very happy with the sight of my lawn right now, but luckily the snow will be covering it in a few months. Well say hello to all those...

Last Saturday I reached my goal! I graduated with my Medical Assisting degree! All of your medical issues were the driving force that kept me going. I always wanted to understand and learn more so that I could help you! Now with your help and guidance from above I will hopefully serve others! I wish you could have been there to see me walk across the stage! I miss you and love you so much!

Happy Easter Dad. Missing you.

Dad,
It's been 1 month since the last time I kissed you and said I Love You. I think of you every minute of each day. I can still hear you answer the phone Sears! How I miss our afternoon chats and the rainfall updates. It's still feels like a dream and 1 day I will hear your voice again.
I miss you & Love you very much!!

I love you so much Papa. I will miss you extremely and there are no words to describe how proud I am of you and will miss the amazing man you were. It hurts to know you won't be able to see me grow but I know you're in a better place now. I will always love you so much and I'll always remember how you let me paint your toes and apply lipstick.

Clara-
Belated condolences to you and your family. I always enjoy running into you and Ted in Wauconda, and getting caught up on family. Heaven is getting filled up with a great bunch of 'Raupps'. May God bless you.

Nancy (Ragland) McMaster, Anna Mae and Rag's daughter

Please accept my sympathy for your loss. It is always sad to read about a loss in my dad's family. We have good memories of my dad's cousins! May your families all enjoy fond memories, as we do of my dad.
Sincerely,
Lynn Atkinson
